NBA Attendance Flat Headed Into All-Star Break; 76ers Up Big At Wells Fargo Center

With only a pair of games left to be played before the All-Star break, NBA average attendance is flat compared to the same point last season. Four Eastern Conference teams -- the Bulls, Cavaliers, Raptors and Knicks -- occupy the top spots in terms of best attendance, respectively. The Bulls have led NBA attendance for seven straight seasons. Despite having a sub-.500 record, the 76ers have seen a league-best 17.5% surge in average attendance. They are also the only NBA club to see a double-digit increase at the gate. The Kings have sold out every game in the team’s first season at the new Golden 1 Center. The Rockets and Wizards have seen the league’s biggest drop in attendance, while the Nuggets have the league's lowest average at 13,937 fans per game. There are 11 NBA clubs playing at 100% capacity or better at their respective home venues.
