Blues CEO MIKE MCCARTHY resigned from his position last Friday. McCarthy was part of DAVE CHECKETTS' company, SCP Worldwide, which bought the Blues in '06. He became CEO in '10, replacing PETER MCLOUGHLIN (STLTODAY.com, 5/25)....The Canadiens named RICK DUDLEY Assistant GM. Dudley spent the past season as Maple Leafs Dir of Player Personnel. Dudley said that "the opportunity to work with" Canadiens GM MARC BERGEVIN was "the deciding factor" in him accepting the position (Montreal GAZETTE, 5/26). The team also named SCOTT MELLANBY Dir of Player Personnel and announced a contract extension for Assistant GM LARRY CARRIERE (CP, 5/28).

EXECS: Under Armour VP/Retail DAN SAWALL has resigned, effective June 1.
