NBC Sports Network Renews "NFL Turning Point" Through '14 Season
Published April 25, 2012NBC Sports Network renewed its "NFL Turning Point" series for another three seasons. The NFL Films-produced show will air during the '12, '13 and '14 NFL seasons on Wednesday nights at 10:00pm ET. As part of the new deal, NBC Sports Network will telecast 22 episodes of the 60-minute show, taking it through the playoffs, including an episode following the Super Bowl. During its inaugural season, the series had 18 episodes; NFL Films only produced one episode during the NFL playoffs. "NFL Turning Point" will begin airing again on Sept. 22 with Dan Patrick returning as the series host. The series was nominated for a Sports Emmy last year for Outstanding Edited Sports Series/Anthology.
